ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is one of the most commonly used to treat pain in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves the insertion of very thin needles through the skin at strategic points along the meridians of the body. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management.
Acupuncture plays an important role in balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as "qi"— believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that the energy flow will be re-balanced.
